So…Mother’s Day is coming up! Seeing as it I’m around preggie mommies a lot, I thought I’d put together a gift guide of what to get your pregnant friend/wife/sister/cousin/baby momma this upcoming holiday! Mother’s Day gifts for pregnant ladies can be tricky. There’s a whole lot of stuff out there for MOMS but maybe not as many specifically for the MOMS TO BE.

Luckily, most pregnant women like gifts. And even if it’s something small, it’s really the thought that counts! Even if it’s just a card, that really says a lot!

I got pregnant in May of 2016, so I actually didn’t get to experience a “pregnant” Mother’s Day. So sad! My son was born in February, so I celebrated my first Mother’s Day when he was three months old.

In fact, I’ll start off this list of what my husband gave me on my first Mother’s Day:

MY “W” INITIAL NECKLACE

So sweet! I totally love it, and I wear it almost every day!

I couldn’t find the exact link, but this is the highest quality, highest reviewed initial necklace I could find:

Alright, here’s the rest of the list!

BELLY BOOK

I had one of these books during my pregnancy and I HIGHLY recommend it! So fun to be able to write in every week what’s going on in your life, and I’ve looked back at it multiple times over the past year.

BELLY STICKERS

For all those cute bump pictures! These are the ones pictures, but if you scroll down they have a TON of other styles to choose from! This set is also a favorite of mine if you are a floral girl!

BATH BOMBS

What pregnant lady doesn’t like soaking in the bath? I’ve found these to be the most cost effective, and highest quality bath bombs out there, and these are specially made for pregnant mamas! Your choice 🙂

SONOGRAM FRAME

I’ve gotten this frame for a few of my pregnant friends, and it’s always a big hit! They also have one with three slots so you can put a few more pictures in!

PREGGIE POPS

Preggie Pops! For your nauseous pregnant mama! PS: if you’re struggling during that pesky first trimester, check out this post for some encouragement!

SOME CUTE PREGNANCY SOCKS

Awww, who doesn’t love these socks for home, or for the hospital? they have a ton of different ones to choose from! My favorite has got to be the “Rub my Feet” ones!

A WATER BOTTLE

“Stay Thirsty My Friends”, no just kidding don’t stay thirsty, stay HYDRATED! This one says, “Fly as a Mother”, and this one has time marker measurements!

A BUMP BOX

Have you guys seen these? They are all the rage! A Bump Box is an adorable gift for your favorite pregnant lady! I’ve already mentioned a few items that they include, but they are so darn cute and compact. They have boxes for the first, second, third and FORTH trimester! Better yet, you can get them all on AMAZON! 🙂

BELLY BUDS

For the musical mama. Play your baby some jams!

A BELLY CASTING KIT

I didn’t do one of these during my pregnancy, but I think they are super cool! Fair warning, they are SUPER messy, but this one actually comes with a floor cover!

A BELLA BAND

Attention all pregnant ladies : you need this if you want to keep your current pants on longer!

SPEAKING OF PANTS

Most pregnant ladies love them some leggings. Leggings > Pants any day. These are from Target and are by far my fave. Just be sure to get ones that go OVER the belly (that’s just my personal preference). Also love these from Foucome, and they come in a pack of two!

BELLY BUTTER

I LOVED this stuff while I was pregnant! Burt’s Bees has a really great line of pregnancy skin care products, and their belly butter was by far my favorite. The scent is also not to in-your-face unlike some lotions with cocoa butter. Motherlove also has a nice scent, and Mother’s Special Blend is really great too if you like something a bit more oil based.

PREGNANCY PILLOW

Ahh, the sacred pregnancy pillow. This one from Target is really wonderful, but I’ve heard good things about the Snoogle as well.

THE BIG FAT ACTIVITY BOOK FOR PREGNANT PEOPLE

For any mom with a sense of humor, seriously, just go read the comments on Amazon!

INA MAY GASKIN’S GUIDE TO CHILDBIRTH

This book is great for any pregnant lady trying to go the au natural route! I read it during my pregnancy, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

A PRENATAL CLASS

What better gift to give a pregnant lady than the gift of knowledge, am I right?? Ha! But seriously, CHECK THIS OUT! Hillary from Pulling Curls is a fellow labor and delivery nurse, and she created a fantastic ONLINE PRENATAL COURSE. That’s right, she goes over EVERYTHING, and you don’t have to even have to leave your couch!

You get all the benefits of a traditional in-class style course, but you get to enjoy it from the comfort of your own home, on your own time. There’s 3 price points (one is only $20!), so pick which one works for your life, your budget and your needs.  There’s something just right for you! Pretty brilliant if you ask me! 🙂 Check it out here, and tell her I sent you!

UPDATE: Use code LABORTEEN to save 10% off any course!

AND FINALLY, UNDIES

These awesome “Under Bump” undies can be worn throughout pregnancy, and during postpartum as well. They have a low waist cross design, and they fit nicely underneath your bump without causing any pressure. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m at a point in my life where I get excited about getting some new underwear.

What did you get for your first Mother’s Day? I’d love to know!

Happy Baby Growing! 🙂
